The police arrested the girl for further investigation for asking what caused initiated this incident as the 12-year-old girl went into police custody. The girl said: “I don’t know why I did it.” Oklahoma girl tearfully told the police in the back of the patrol car. She committed that her 9-year-old brother has been killed by stabbing.
Furthermore, the police told that this incident occurred at an apartment in Tulsa’s downs town St.Thomas Square neighborhood. In addition, the Tulsa Police Department also said the incident took place before midnight of 5th January.

The Tulsa Police Department Officer defined the incident as per the report from the victim’s family. The police said: “The children’s parent was upstairs asleep when the 12-year-old daughter woke her parent and said that she had stabbed her brother to death.”
The girl was saying tearfully “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.”
Zander Lyda was rushed immediately to the hospital in an emergency where the doctor immediately took him under surgery but the 9-year-old boy could not survive, Zander Lyda succumbed to his injuries around 2:30 a.m.

The family has organized a fundraiser to collect the money. Doug and Jenni Anthamatten are organizing this fundraising appeal on behalf of April Lyda (mother of the victim). The $15,000 was the target and $5,909 has been raised with the help of 143 donors.
According to the report, the family is completely devastated and confused, the family is still trying to figure out why this incident happened. Doug and Jenni Anthamtten said that their daughter was a well-behaved child with no history of behavioral problems. Her son Zander was a lovely boy who loved to bike ride, play Fortnite, and play with his best friends.
The fund will be used for the expenses. April is a single mother who is raising her 3-year-old son. Right now, she is unable to go back to his work as this month she has to pay expenses like funeral and legal/ attorney fees.
