Walt Garrison Obituary

He was born on July 23, 1944, in Denton TX. Garrison played college football at Oklahoma State University, where he excelled as a running back. After his college career, he was selected in the fifth round of the 1966 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. Garrison played his entire NFL career with the Cowboys, from 1966 to 1974. He was known for his tough and gritty playing style, often displaying great resilience and determination on the field.

He was a key contributor to the Cowboys during his time with the team, being an important part of their offense and known for his blocking abilities and versatility as a running back.
