It is with deepest sorrow that we share the death news of Peyton Shaw, who died in a Waverly car accident today. Reports have suggested that the accident happened on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in the afternoon. It was a matter of Newfield where three vehicles were piled up in the accident.
The entire Valley community is mourning the tragic demise of a Waverly High School girl identified as Peyton C. Shaw. It was a three-car accident that happened in Newfield in the afternoon on Tuesday. The New York State Police stated that the crash happened at around 12:50 pm on West Dandy Road near Piper Rd, Newfield.

Circumstances surrounding Peyton Shaw car accident, a Jeep Patriot and a Toyota Yaris were traveling in the same direction (North) on Dandy Road when suddenly the Jeep Patriot’s driver was stopped by another vehicle making a turn in front of it. But the Toyota Yaris ended up raging into the Jeep Patriot from behind. As a result of the collision, Yaris went to the wrong side and was struck by a Cadillac CT6.
The student of Waverly High School, Peyton Shaw, was in the passenger seat of Toyota Yaris at the time of crash. She was declared dead at the scene. No medical aid was provided to the Waverly High School boy. Peyton C. Shaw was 17 years old when died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
However, the driver of the Toyota Yaris, identified as Dale Ty Beeman, 18, was admitted to Robert Packer Hospital located in Sayre with the help of an air ambulance. He was with serious injuries when admitted to the hospital. Dale Beeman is a graduate of Waverly University. While the driver of the Jeep Patriot was identified as Aristopher D. Bo, 40. from Waverly and the driver of the Cadillac CT6 involved in the crash was identified as Stephen M. Lucente, 28, from Spencer. They were treated at the scene, for their minor injuries.
