Yes, it has been asserted that a security officer shot MC Oluomo dead in at the collation center of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Idanra, Inanre Government Region of Ondo State. This incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the reports, the politician who was shot dead was confronting the security agents guarding the electoral commission’s office. Reportedly, the winner of the House of Representatives election who is the Member of Ondo State House of Assembly from Idanre Local Government Area Constituency, Hon. Festus Akingbaso Fessywest was about to get the Certificate of Return but Oluomo scuffled with officers.

Later the politician was also rushed to a hospital but he was pronounced dead at the hospital. MC Oluomo’s corpse has been deposited in the General Hospital’s mortuary. Mr. Akinlabi Akinnaso aka MC Oluomo died in his 40s.
