The victim, identified as K in reports, is seen trembling on the ground with little assistance from onlookers. She was rushed to a nearby hospital with severe head injuries, and as of Sunday, authorities confirmed she remains in critical condition.

Contrary to rumors circulating on social media, the teen has not succumbed to her injuries. The St. Louis Police Department clarified that the girl is still hospitalized and urged the public to avoid spreading false information.

A 15-year-old girl has been detained on assault charges in connection with the incident. The fight occurred just north of the Hazelwood East High School campus, prompting a rapid response from the North County Precinct officers at around 2:30 pm local time.
