Ava Patete who was a student at Whitman Hanson Regional High School, reportedly entered the way of an outbound MBTA commuter train. Furthermore, the incident occurred about 1000 yards south of Whitman Station in Massachusetts. According to MBTA Transit Police, the fatal accident happened at around 8:30 pm on Tuesday, 30th May 2023.
The impact of the strike by the train was devastating, the teenage girl sustained life-threatening injuries and succumbed to them at the scene. However, it is not the first time when we reported a person died after being struck by a train. However, The Fire and Police Departments from Whitman County were on the scene. But the girl could not be provided with emergency treatment. In the past few days, we have seen such horrible cases. Ava Patete Death
Ava Patete was reportedly a resident of Whitman MA. She was aged between 16 and 19. Furthermore, the Whitman resident was studying at Whitman Hanson Regional High School where she was the superintendent of the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District and Goalie for the WHRHS Varsity Soccer Team.
A person on social media extended his condolences by saying, “forever missed, never forgotten. we’re all gonna forever miss you ava patete and the way you could light up a whole room with your smile. thank you for everything, thank you for the memories, thank you for how great of a person and friend you were to everyone but especially me, the world didn’t deserve you.”
Another wrote, “I don’t know your name, but my heart breaks for you, your family, and everyone who knew you.”
