Benjamin Ross Missing Update

Ross, who was training as a barrister in Manchester, had been in regular contact with his family until a week ago. On July 10, he sent his mother, Felix Robinson, a peculiar email stating that he was “not in a good place.” This message has since been a source of grave concern for his family, especially given his history of mental health issues. He was sectioned at a facility in Liverpool just last year.

Before his disappearance, Ross encountered a series of unfortunate events. On July 6, while taking a swim in the sea, his bag containing his phone, passport, keys, and wallet was stolen. Left penniless and without identification, he reported the theft to the local police and subsequently left the station in the early hours of July 7.

Following this incident, Ross had a disagreement with his flatmates and was asked to leave his accommodation. His mother believes that the loss of his belongings and the subsequent eviction significantly impacted his mental state. Felix Robinson had been attempting to organize a bank transfer to support her son financially when she received his troubling email.

Felix Robinson has described the days since her son’s disappearance as “torture” and is planning to fly to Majorca to aid in the search efforts. She has issued a heartfelt plea to the public for any information regarding Ben’s whereabouts. “Like any mother, no matter what age your children are, they are still your children. I just need to know my son is safe and well,” she told the press. “Please, if anyone has seen Ben, even if it’s just for a second, let the authorities know. We need to find him.”

The Foreign Office is currently supporting Ross’s family and is in contact with local authorities in Majorca. A spokesperson stated, “We are supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”

Additionally, a fundraiser has been set up to assist Ross’s family with the costs of flying out to Majorca, accommodation, and other expenses related to the search. The organizer of the fundraiser, which has a target of £5,000, has stated that any unused funds will be donated to Andy’s Man Club, a men’s mental health support charity.
