The church’s statement read: “Friends, one of our former youth, Lauren Whinery, passed away today. It was sudden and unexpected. I am grieving and I know many of you are, as well. If you need some space to pray, see friends who are grieving with you, and to find support and the hope of Jesus, please join us from 6:30-7:30pm on Tuesday, July 2 at Shueyville Church. You can come and go as you would like, but we will have a group prayer at 7:00pm.”
